Sonya is a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Peace Lov Harmony Counseling, LLC. Sonya has sixteen years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working with a diverse group of people. Sonya is also an Alabama Registered - Alternative Dispute Resolution Mediator for domestic relations. She is qualified to work with court-ordered and/or private parties to mediate domestic relations issues. Sonya is an impartial third party, that provides confidential mediation. She strives to assist disputing parties in reaching a mutually acceptable agreement regarding their dispute. Sonya is also the author of I Speak Man and I Speak Woman. Two books and companion workbooks designed to help Black men and women understand each other without defensiveness, dominance, or emotional shutdown.
